The absoluteBlack HOLLOWcage Carbon Ceramic OSPW for Shimano 8000/9100 is the quietest, best shifting and most aero derailleur cage on the market. Featuring a carbon-polymer mono-plate construction with full ceramic bearings, this pully wheel also saves you watts! CeramicSpeed uses bespoke, shielded, oversized full ceramic bearings that are lightly greased.
In addition to the full ceramic bearings, the HOLLOWcage oversized pully wheel system uses a lower spring tension than any other cage on the market. The lower the spring tension, the better the performance. It is also the only cage that can dynamically adapt to the chainline. Flexibility is good as it allows the cage (and therefore lower pulley) to better align with the angle of the chain when using the higher gears of the cassette. This means less friction as the pulley doesn’t have to fight against the chain itself.
In fact, spring tension and the ability of the cage to adapt to the chainline are the biggest factors to better performance for an oversized pully system!

In addition to using oversized, full ceramic bearings, the absoluteBlack HOLLOWcage Carbon Ceramic OSPW for Shimano 8000/9100 uses lower spring tension than any other cage on the market. It is also the only cage that can dynamically adapt to the chainline. Spring tension and the ability of the cage to adapt to the chainline are the two key ways an oversized pully system increases performance!
Very Quiet
Using a patent pending solution and special xring rubber suspended bands, absoluteBlack is able to reduce the sound level by 12-14 dB when compared to stock Shimano pulleys. This is a reduction in noise of around 60%. This makes the cage almost completely silent.
Better Shifting
The single most important factor that impacts the shifting is the upper pulley itself. HOLLOWcage use large, bespoke, full ceramic bearings that make the pulleys incredibly stiff. This leads to better, more precise shifting. In addition, HOLLOWcage uses tall teeth on the upper pulley which also help improve shifting.
More Aero
When tested in a wind tunnel, the absoluteBlack HOLLOWcage OSPW for Shimano also proved to be more aerodynamic than a Shimano DURA-ACE cage.

The absoluteBlack OSPW for Shimano 8000/9100 is compatible with Shimano Ultegra 8000/8050 and DURA-ACE 9100/9150. It fits up to 32T cassette.
