original Shimano Deore RD-DE10 rear derailleur

Description

Pictured here is the first Shimano Deore derailleur released in 1981. Unlike modern Deore parts, this was designed for road touring. Note it has neither indexing nor a slant parallelogram. It has slight play in some of the parallelogram pivot points, but otherwise is a solid unit. We set the price high hoping the funds will compensate for the immense grief we will experience upon letting go of this derailleur.
Apply this part directly to the bike to alleviate chain snake troubles.
