Polaris back-up reverse drive valve Gear Mechanism
is the current replacement part for the G52 backup valve shown below.
Fits into the G52 back-up valve only.
Service Tip:
The back-up jet should cycle on and off regularly. It should stay off longer than it stays on. If not, then check the gear assembly and check for gear failure. Replace if damaged.
There shouldn't be no leaks from around the back-up jet. Check the housing for leaks, cracks, damaged case or jet valve O-ring failure.
