RARE Nicolo Salanti Vintage Button Accordion wooden case steel reeds N.Y & N.J.

RARE Nicolo Salanti Armonica Jtaliano  B & j N Y - Vintage Button Accordion wooden case with  steel reeds - signed N.Y & N.J. - see picture # 2, I have no idea what it means - on the side there is a sticker that reads Friedman's Music Shop Springfield Ave., and 966 Broad Street Newark, N.J. (see picture # 5) there are 21 buttons on board and 12 buttons on the other with one top missing  -
The unit measures approximately 11 3/4 inches wide, 13 inches tall, and 6 1/2 inches deep.- I am no player but when you open and squeeze the item it makes an accordion noise if you know what I mean - do the buttons all work I have idea O.K.-
I believe it's from the late 1800's but not positive

Please NOTE I am NOT a music instrument  expert. So I'm going to give you my best description , of this fantastic collector's item , and you'll have to be the judge for yourself. I believe this is an extremely cool  Also my opinion is that Everything looks original on here even the  original strap - it appears  missing one button top , and see the last picture there is  small piece of the grill is missing and needed to be reattached ( see last picture) - But that's to be expected for as old as this item is... this item was found on the east coast of the United States, the Pocono Mountain area to be exact , at a really nice. This is definitely what they call Farm Fresh fin  , you're going to have to be the judge of this item. I really think this would be a great gift , for any collector,  or any collection.. -  I am NO EXPERT in this type of item o.k. so I have posted a lot of pictures I WILL CERTAINLY ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE, WOULD MAKE A GREAT ADDITION TO YOUR COLLECTION - Local pick up is preferred but I do ship across the USA  - there are many pictures so check them all out.
