Antique M. Hohner diatonic button box accordion made in Germany. 2 treble rows, 8 bass, bottom stop button. Wood, mother of pearl, metal, paper, leather, cloth construction. This is a well worn, beautiful early twentieth century accordion (accordeon) with the St. Louis 1904 Gold Medal lettering. Red stained wood with scroll work, mother of pearl buttons, clover-printed paper bellows with brass corners, steel and leather reed works, leather straps, and decorative metal hooks and screws throughout, along with a button on the bottom.
